Kfir Minerals Ltd. of Israel
– a private firm founded some 30 years ago – has the concession to process the
residue produced by the energy plant. In addition to the processing of Alganite®
, KFIR Minerals also engages in the production of livestock feed and the mining of
minerals. Kfir Minerals has a number of associate companies engaged in other production
enterprises.
N.G.J. Schouten B.V. of the Netherlands is a
private firm which has been active in the feed commodity trade for some three generations.
About ten years ago N.G.J. Schouten B.V. embarked on a program for expansion of its
activities, one of these being the marketing of Alganite® to the European
market. |
Alganite® is produced by a joint
venture owned by PAMA (Energy Resources Development) Ltd. and Kfir Minerals Ltd. and is
marketed in Europe by N.G.J. Schouten B.V.
